We believe that good lighting is a vitally important element of motorcycling. Whether the goal is to increase daytime conspicuity or to improve your nighttime visibility, high quality lighting is not only safer but it also makes riding after the sun goes down much more enjoyable. Couple this with the fact that the leading cause of motorcycle-related accidents involves another driver taking a left turn in front of a motorcycle they "didn't see" - good lighting can save your hide!!

Virtually every vehicle (both two and four wheeled) we have owned over the years has been subject to some type of lighting "enhancement". Needless to say, we have a LOT of experience with various type of lighting and we have found the RIGID "E-series" LED lights to not only be absolutely reliable, they put out an awesome quality light that is ahead of the curve for LED technology.

Motorcycle Specific Applications:

We recommend either the Dually 2x2, new D2 or 4" lights for various motorcycle applications, based on the mounting options you have available. Based on our testing, we believe the SPOT pattern is the best selection for motorcycle use. The flood pattern is effective for lighting a larger area but does not provide the concentrated brighter light required for the high speeds usually experienced on a motorcycle. For example, the flood pattern is better utilized as a back-up light on a four wheel vehicle. The new D2 puts out an AMAZING 2600 lumens while using only 28 watts of power from a very compact package.

MOUNTS

We also have various motorcycle mounting options available including mounts for 7/8" and 1" engine bars, as well as triple tree mounts for the KTM 950/990 ADV and 950SE. We now have triple tree mounts availble for KTM (and other) dirtbikes available.
